Episode 6: Trusting God

What do we mean when we say we "trust in God"?

Thanks for listening! Our apologies: We had another sound issue with this one, so you’ll have to crank up the volume. The good news is that we have all the kinks figured out (we hope) with this one, and moving forward, the audio should be great.

Meg, Elizabeth, and Mary explore what we mean when we talk about trusting in God. We often hear that phrase said with an assumption of a shared understanding. But is that accurate? In this conversation, our hosts discuss their experiences with trusting in God, how sincerely and deeply they have felt such trust, the barriers to allowing true vulnerability in prayer, and how this concept is used by some to exert control on fellow believers.

How do you understand this idea of trusting in God? How have you expressed it? Have you experienced the abuse of this idea? Comment and share your thoughts!

Next episode: Favorite Saints! Meg, Elizabeth, and Mary talk about their favorite saints and their impact on their spiritual exploration.
